"Golden Hour" - A Queer AANHPI Night Market | Hosted by Mayumi Market
Golden Hour is the L.A LGBT Center’s annual community celebration honoring the intersection of queer identity and AANHPI heritage. This year, the event returns to The Village at Ed Gould Plaza with a vibrant night market experience by Mayumi Market.
Inspired by the Chinese zodiac and the Year of the Fire Horse, this year’s event will center themes of courage, transformation, and bold self-expression—qualities found across queer AANHPI communities. Since its inception in 2024, Golden Hour has grown into a local favorite, drawing more than 1,500 attendees.
Join us on Saturday, May 2 for queer AANHPI food and retail vendors, free mahjong tutorials, a custom portrait experience, live performances curated by Queer LiberAsian, and more.Golden Hour is made possible by Presenting Sponsor PS, and Official Sponsors Gilead and United Airlines.

Organized by MAUM Studio, MAUM is partnering with the City of Los Angeles, Department of Cultural Affairs to put on the 2nd Annual Lunar Block Party in North Hollywood as we close down Lankershim Blvd (in front of Lankershim Arts Center).
Lunar Block Party is an opportunity for NoHo pedestrians to reclaim the block as they welcome the new and good through food, performing arts, culture, and artisans celebrating Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese cultures through sights, sounds, and participation.
