“VÂN” /vəŋ˧˧/ (n), a Sino-Vietnamese word means Cloud.
Inspired from a recent trip back home visiting one of the oldest city of Vietnam, Ninh Binh, where famously known for their limestone/marble carving craft, we found this significant cloud detail that are featured in all of the Ancient Temples/ Historical Buildings. The cloud is usually depicted together with a Phoenix / Dragon; it is an important supporting elements that are used in Vietnamese Art, symbolised sacredness.
